Ali A. Berro

Ali A. Berro is a passionate advocate and a skilled attorney based in Detroit, Michigan. A graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, Ali co-founded the Arab-American Law Student Association, an organization dedicated to fostering academic success and professional growth for minority law students.


Ali earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where he demonstrated a commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion by co-founding the Arab-American Law Student Association. This organization supports minority law students by paving pathways to academic and professional success. During law school, Ali excelled academically and professionally, consistently ranking among the top of his class in coursework related to contracts, business law, and litigation.


Before law school, Ali attended Wayne State University, where he double-majored in Journalism and Philosophy while also minoring in French. Ali’s academic prowess extended beyond the classroom, as he secured multiple national awards for persuasive speaking and debating, including becoming a two-time National Debate Champion. His experience in debate sharpened his advocacy skills, making him a formidable presence in the courtroom.

Ali is highly regarded for his expertise in contract law, with practice areas spanning Real Estate, Construction, Business Transactions, and UCC matters. His ability to navigate complex contracts has earned him a reputation for providing practical and innovative solutions to his clients. In addition to his civil practice, Ali is a zealous litigator in criminal cases, providing steadfast defense in both felony and misdemeanor matters.


Ali’s professional affiliations reflect his commitment to the legal profession and his community. He is an active member of the Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association, the National Arab American Bar Association, and the State Bar of Michigan.
